Diablo 2 Play Disc Iso
I am trying to run Diablo 2 using Daemon Tools, and I think I'm missing a step somewhere. I used the mounted ISO's to do the installs, and everything went very smoothly. Once the game plus expansion were installed, I mounted the expansion ISO to the drive, and clicked on the image to run it. It brings up the 'Play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction' window. I click Play, and after about 10 seconds, it gives me the, 'There is no disc, please insert the disc and click retry' message.
I have tried creating an ISO using the MDF/MDS format, MDX format, as well as the basic ISO. I have tried each of those 3 options on all 3 different types of virtual drives (DT, SCSI, and IDE), and what I explained above happens every single time regardless of the setup.
I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
With this patch, players are no longer required to have the original Diablo II or expansion Diablo II Lord of Destruction CD in the CD-rom drive to play the game. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the updated patch.txt file in your Diablo. 9 - Congratulations, if you followed the above steps correctly, you now have Diablo 2 or Diablo 2 - Lord of Destruction installed which you can play without the discs/CDs. Note: If you're unable to start the game or get online in-game after the installation has completed, run the game as administrator. First, Mount the diablo 2 install disk and run the installation. Then when it tells you to insert the play disk or cinematic disk, mount those and press OK. Run the CD keygen and use the key you get from it to install the game. Saints row 2 mods. Diablo 2 Play Disc Iso Disc
I just recently got the urge to play Diablo II: LOD again, as a side-bar for WoW and I have run into a problem. I have purchased 3 Diablo II's after having one stolen & another lost, and now a third won't read.
I have updated most if not all of my hardware drivers, and i read your FAQ on this topic:
'consider CD & DVD emulation software like Daemon Tools (Free) or Alcohol (Trial). Simply dump the 'Diablo II Play Disc' on your hard-drive using IsoBuster.'
I downloaded Daemon Tools & IsoBuster, but have absolutely no idea how to 'dump' the Diablo II: LOD CD onto my hard drive. I made attempts to 'extract the raw data' from the disc, then tried to 'mount the cue' only to find that Daemon Tools said there was no data..nore could i locate it (even in the file i extrated the raw data to).
I know Diablo II is rather old now , But i thought I could get some help so I never have to deal w/ one of these CD problems again!
